A Personal Journal that Builds Bridges Not Walls
Back in 2012, I facilitated at workshop for The Grail in response to the 2011-2012 Social Justice Statement “Building Bridges Not Wall: Prisons and the Justice System.” At the time I was a Prison Chaplain at a Remand Centre for 1000 men entering custody. The women from the Grail asked how they could support inmates, the work of the Chaplains and be builders of bridges not walls. And so, inspired by the Prison Journal Project of Sr Joan Chittister in the USA, the Prison Journal Project was born. To date we have given away 2,00 copies and sold another 2,000!
Walking as Guests of the Earth
At Centennial Park in Sydney there is a wonderful Labyrinth. On the first Sunday of each month there is a community labyrinth walk facilitated by various people with interest and passion for labyrinths. Today I had the privilege of facilitating the walk.

Food for the Soul
I woke before the 4:45am alarm and that was a gift. I had the opportunity for some time of quiet before throwing on some clothes and getting in the car to leave home at 5:00am. It is the early start that is usually the most difficult part of the day but this morning I...
New Horizons
It is 2 years since I finished full-time paid employment. Many of you have followed alongside me through “Border Crossing” posts, as I took some sabbatical time for rest, renewal, and reorientation.
